Third Soldier Dies After Exhibiting Flu-Like Symptoms
Sgt. Clay Garton Reportedly Dies From Infection

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The mysterious death of a third soldier with North Carolina ties is raising questions. All three died from flu-like symptoms after returning from overseas deployments, according to a report by affiliate station WRAL.

Sgt. Clay Garton's family says the Army veteran exhibited flu-like symptoms after returning from overseas deployments.

Sgt. Clay Garton was a flight medic at Fort Bragg. He spent 16 months in Iraq and returned home in July. Then, he got sick.

His family said he had symptoms like the flu. He fought it for three weeks, but his fever soared to 106 degrees. The day after Christmas, he died.

"They came out in five minutes and said, 'He's gone,'" said Duane Garton, Clay's father.

According to a preliminary autopsy report, Garton's liver and spleen were swollen. His wife said doctors told her he died from infection.

It is the third recent example of soldiers dying after exhibiting flu-like symptoms. Capt. Gilbert Munoz was a special forces soldier at Fort Bragg who was deployed to the Middle East. After he got back, he died from a bacterial infection.

Sgt. Christopher Rogers was a reservist from Raleigh. He went to
Afghanistan. After he came home, his temperature hit 109 degrees. His widow, Windy Rogers, wonders whether he had what Munoz had.

"Chris was admitted with flu-like symptoms. Whatever it was, it shut all of his organs down -- shut them all down -- and I want to know what happened," she said. http://www.newsnet5.com/news/4210227/detail.html

The flu?

This is what an acute exposure to 2-butoxyethanol would do. Could be the same thing as SIDS - the organs shut down, starting with the liver, and then the other organs, and you stop breathing. Spleen enlarged? Most likely a symptom of acute acquired autoimmune hemolytic anemia. If so, 'retic' rate would have been very high. Red blood cells would have been ragged and beat up. There would have been blood in urine.

No wonder they couldn't fight infection, their immune system was busy attacking THEM! What were they doing 15 minutes before this all started?

I think transport equipment should include a set of goggles, and I think if they compare notes, they will find an exposure to 2-butoxyethanol or diethylene glycol monobutyl ether for each of these dear men.

Default & in other time periods - the same harm?

Three Soldiers Die of 'flu-like' symptoms

I found that the list of Vietnam ailments, is the same as what 2-butoxyethanol would cause & looked into it a little.

I now think Dioxin is getting too much credit ... as is Saran Gas, Depleted Uranium, and vaccinations in the gulf war

It is commonly believed that Dioxin is the 'culprit' for their harm; however you look at this report on the matter, and it states,
Quote:
The committee also found sufficient evidence of an association between herbicides or dioxin and chloracne and PCT. Chloracne is a specific acne-like skin disorder; PCT is a liver disorder characterized by thinning and blistering of the skin
Well, there are a couple of things on 'the list' that Dioxin would cause: We know that this may be what Dioxin does by itself, per a contemporary leader in the Baltics who was given 6,000 times the normal amount of dioxin. (Not the poison his 'enemies' thought it would be)

The other? .... more likely the herbicide or the 2-butoxyethanol in the kerosene - Used to help the 'dioxin mix' adhere to the foliage
