Murkowski was in Kodiak to visit air station rescue crews to commend them for their rescue efforts of more than 14 fishermen in the past several weeks.

Murkowski visited the helicopter crews in Kodiak to commend them for their rescue efforts in saving the lives of 14 Alaska fishermen in 2011.

Murkowski was in Kodiak visiting the air station helicopter crews and commending them for their efforts in rescuing the lives of 14 fishermen in the past several weeks.

Murkowski took the time to fly in from D.C. to commend air station helicopter crews for their rescue efforts in saving the lives of more than 14 Alaskans during early 2011.

Murkowski heard the first hand accounts of four rescues that were conducted in January and early February during a visit to commend the aircrews for their efforts.
