Judge in Alabama orders Navy plane bought in France forfeited to federal authorities
01-09-2012 03:04 PM BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — A judge in Alabama is ordering a decades-old Navy plane to be forfeited to federal authorities because it was brought into the country illegally from France. Claude Hendrickson says he bought the plane because his father had flown a similar model when he was in the Navy in the 1950s. The plane is a Douglas AD-4N Skyrader aircraft.
