I am so sure that vietnam's rice is not as good as thailand's rice, but
Vietnam's rice customers have increase steady with every country vietnam
established diplomatic relations. Vietnam is vitually having diplomatic
relation with almost every country in the world.

Vietnam was Iraq largest trading partner before the war. In fact, the oil
for food program under the UN had heavy vietnamese involvement. The money
from oil was used by the UN and iraq to buy mostly food supplied by Vietnam.
Not only rice, vietnam also sold iraq tea, coffee, and other agriculture
products before the war. Vietnam also invested million of dollars in some
iraq oil fields,but those contracts are believed to be lost with the change
of regime. I will not be surprise if iraq will come the vietnam again for
good and services.
