(EXCERPT) Wednesday, October 15, 2003, by Beth Hope-Cushey, Tri-State Sports & News Service Zachary Sangelo, a sixth-grader at Elizabeth Forward Middle School, can barely remember visiting the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., when he was only 3 years old. And although his great-grandfather had served as a pilot during the war, he knew little about the war and its time period until last week, when he saw a Vietnam Veteran Education Display in the middle school library. The Legacy of the Wall display has four panels of photographs, timeline and information on events and everyday life in the States and abroad during the Vietnam War era.
