 A rigid hull inflatable boat with Sailors from the guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey's (DDG 105) visit, board, search and seizure team speak with mariners on an Iranian fishing dhow. Dewey, assigned to Commander, Task Force 50, responded to a distress call from the Iranian fishing dhow Al Mamsoor, which indicated it was sinking and in need of assistance. Dewey is conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
