Medals? ALL officers get medals in combat. During the first Gulf war..EVERY
single officer in my friek'n battalion got medals...not the soft kind
either, ones for heroism..even though they never saw squat. How many
enlisted got medals?....ONE! An office pog that did the paperwork for the
officers.
So when an officer 'recalls' his glorious medals from combat...it just makes
me kind'a...puke. NO...not ALL of'em were paper heros...but MOST of'em are.
So you just never know unless you do your homework man.
