CHICKEN FLU ON THE NINTH CLOUD! Re: VE^` VU. KU'M GA`

Vietnam is a poor country, everybody knows that especially the
Vietzankonghoa who kept reminding us how poor Vietnam is, the very
last country in the World which is a lie.
Vietnam ranked 109th among about 190 countries in the World which is
Light Year higher than the 190th ranking country in the World.

Chicken raising business is one of the most successful activities of
poor Vietnamese peasants to get out of poverty since DDoimoi because
one needs only a few tens of dollars to start a business with a few
dozens chicks. This low capital business keep alive hundreds of
thousands Vietnamese in the country side and in the Highlands.

Killing all chicken and burning all chicken coops will not only put
the livelihood of these hundreds of thousands families in jeopardy but
also increased the number of Children death due to malnutrition, of
young girls going into prostitution the curse "brought about by the
Vietkong" as your Vietzan Side keep reminding us day and night on SCV
and on all Boat Media.

The number of people killed by Chicken Flu Virus were 20 a large
number but none had died for about 1 month now and no new cases were
detected in last two weeks. No new Chick infection areas were
detected in most provinces of Vietnam and especially no case of
infection or death of Vietnamese who had not been in contact with the
diseased chicks and no Foreigners had been affected in anyway form or
shape.

This doesn't mean that the Chick Flu epidemics had been eradicated and
it doesn't mean that it will ever be just like the Mad Cow Disease in
UK you claimed that hundreds of thousands cows had been destroyed
because your benefactors the British put the value of human life above
money, had not been eradicated.

The life and the fate of thousands of Vietnamese who might be affected
if a more drastic policy of destruction of chicken were implemented
are important too Mr/Ms Autumn Cloud.
The UK GDP is 50 to 75 X higher than The Vietnamese GDP in Dollar term
not in Purchasing power but the latter is still 12 to 15 X higher.
Killing billions USD worth of Cows is affordable by the Brits not to

So what do you say, taking or ignoring advice from the experts?

When something like this happens. The government must put the interest of
the nation and the lives of the people above the cost. It would cause
hardship to some people. But money can be regained, while human lives can
not.

Supposing the methods which the Vietnamese government used had not worked.
Then they would have placed the lives of the entire nation at risk. Not only
that Vietnam would have lost so much money from tourism, overseas trading
and so on. On top of that the government would have gone back and killed all
the chickens in the country, against only culling chickens in the infected
areas.

The guide lines established by WHO and FAO are the means of minimising the
risks of spreading the deseases. They were produced by health experts from
many countries. They are not something which can be looked at lightly.

The Vietnamese government went against the recommendions from WHO and FAO.
Vietnam is lucky this time. However, I would not say it is a wise thing to
do.

What would you do when your house is burning. Would you run away from the
fire and be empty handed? or would you run into the fire in the hope of
salvaging your properties?

You talked about the cost. Would the cost of culling the chickens according
to WHO and FAO be as great as the cost of raging the war with South Vietnam?

I might be on the 9th cloud for too long as you said. But I do value human
lives a lot more than you do.
