What our Armed Forces Means to me
I work for West Corporation in Spokane, WA and last week they honored veterans and family of veterans in a special ceremony. I received a certificate of appreciate for serving in the US Army and Tom was also invited and received recognition for his service in the US Army. We had a color guard and speaker and the whole thing was very nice. We have approximately 400 employees and it was great to see who the military people were. West had an essay contest and they had two topics. The winners of each topic won an IPOD. I wrote the attached essay and won the contest. I am sharing it with you.
