Talking Arizona response to California's boycott over its immigration stance

That's a pretty clear message!

You just have to think about it. I got a perscription from the VA the other day and the warnings on the bottle were written first in English and then on the bottom they were again written in Spanish. Just exactly what other countries of the world would two languages be expected on any written instructions or warnings on any commercial transactions?
It's my understanding that in Arizona there has to be some criminal or suspicious behavior before any law enforcement or authority ask for identification. With the drugs and the crime that are crossing the Mexican border into America we damn well better protect our border and the people of America and our governments, Federal and State has that responsibility.
Gee!!! I speak some Latvian. Think I'll go to the ACLU and sue somebody for discrimination 'cause they don't put those warnings in Latvian too. Of course, the people that I learned that language from would not speak their native language in their home if there was an American in the house also. Arvid and Mirdza walked away from their homes in Latvia and accross Europe to fighting American troops that brought them to America as Hitler and the communist were ravaging Riga, Latvia, the capital which fell into communist hands until the Soviet Union disolved not that long ago.

100% agreement with your post! I don't have the exact number, but a Mr. Big from oneof the Big Box storess told me that it costs his company over 15 Million each year to print all the stuff his company needs in two languages. Multiply that by all the other stores, businesses, etc., and the cost is staggering. This cost must be subtracted from the productivity quotient of our entire economy. Every time I'm in some foreign country, I don't expect/demand that all the prices, notices, government printing etc. etc. be done in Texan, just so I can read it!

Bottom line, our economy would improve almost overnight if we would just print stuff in English - screw the lazy wetbacks and all their whining apologists.

There are alot of hard working Mexicans BUT most of those that work hard are legal. There is a HUGE population of illegals here and i'm tired of it. We have allot of the meat packing plants that put them to work knowing full well that they are who they are. They turn a blind eye.

This is AMERICA not Ol' Mexico or anywhere else. Don't like it then go back. It would also be a different story if the national government would of done the job that they have been meant to do for years and years.

If Arizona keeps this up maybe the Mexicans will boycott them. I would support that all the way. Stick, in answer to your question, Canada has a law requiring every thing to be in English and French. That's what the French Canadians get for not putting a stop to all the Tories running up there after the Revolutionary War.

I met a couple from Benson, Az that told me that this is a real sign on I-10 outside Tucson, Az.

Also, the Gov. of the state is relaxing the carry laws so that folks can pretect themselfs. She has bigger balls than the federal govt.

Default Joy,...

Great Sign!

It's no wonder SO MANY Americans (about 70%) agree, admire & sympathize with those Arizonans.

The say it like it is and/or NOT Politically-Correctly as those Dictatorial Obama-ites much prefer.
