The 2015 Sailors of the Year, United States Fleet Forces Command Sailor of the Year, Aviation Boatswain's Mate Tinisha Franklin, left, United States Pacific Fleet Sailor of the Year, Hospital Corpsman Corey Smith, United States Navy Reserve Sailor of the Year, Equipment Operator Steven Butterhof, and United States Navy Shore Sailor of the Year, Hospital Corpsman Jessica Wentlent are promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer during Sailor of the Year Week. The week, hosted by MCPON Mike Stevens, brings the Navy's four top Sailors to Washington D.C. where they are recognized for their outstanding contributions and advanced to Chief Petty Officer.
