09-29-2018 02:06 PM When Vicki Santoro boarded a flight on Sept. 30, 2016, she didn't expect the pilot to announce that a World War II veteran who served in the Army Nurse Corps was on board. She was overwhelmed by the attention. Santoro died Sept. 17, 2018. She was 99 years old, just two months shy of her 100th birthday.       More...
