How does a ‘relatively modest’ politician become a multi-millionaire upon their entrance into public office – and why is this miraculous transformation never questioned (nor even challenged) by the people themselves? And what is far worse than this, is the fact that a few of these odiferous louts actually laugh in our faces upon being elected? (What Fools We Mortals Be)

I once thought that public office was a sacred trust, and that these selectees were there to advance “The Public’s Good” – and not solely their own almighty power, affluence and god-like worship and even unquestioned influence, over our very lives – at least that was the way that “it was supposed to be?” But for a country that was created to be under the control of only “We, the People”, I find it very disturbing to realize that more than a few in politics these days, consider themselves to be more gods and lord-high confessors than the actual hired-hands of the people themselves – and it ain’t going to get any better either, at least not until these louts are peacefully-re-educated about the facts of elected political office and more than that - “Who Actually Serves Who?”
