This is America. We welcome any from around the world that seek a better life for themselves and their children.
Just a few pointers for those of you that are new here.
We understand that you have your own culture and traditions. That's great, America is known as the "Melting Pot."
Allow your culture and traditions to melt into ours and become an integral part of our makeup The strong points from each makes us all stronger.. If you are unwilling to allow your culture and traditions to blend with others, then you apparently made a mistake in your choice of a new home.

We already have a God, some of our citizens choose to not even believe in a God. That is their right. We are not really interested in yours. You are free to worship as you please, but please don't complain when others aren't interested and certainly don't expect us to convert. We especially frown upon people that threaten to kill those who refuse to convert.

Here we speak English. Well at least a variation of English of which we are fond. If you want to remain here please learn to speak the language and teach your children our language. Don't expect us to change public documents, school lessons and government forms because you have no interest in our native tongue. If you need help learning your new language, we are pleased to offer many free services in this regard.

You will find that in America we hold our flag in high regard. We affectionally call it "Old Glory." Yes it is just fabric, but it was sewn with dedication, freedom, hope, love and the blood of many Americans that died to uphold the ideals it represents. It is much more than inert, it has a life of it's own. If you burn our flag or in any other way desecrate it's memory, you will find that Americans have a tendency to get upset. In spite of this we pass laws to protect the safety of people who chose to engage in this form of utter disrespect.

You are welcome here as long as it is peace and a better life you seek. If you don't like our lifestyle, our God and the symbols that we hold dear, perhaps you would be happier elsewhere.
