![]() ?WHO?S GOING TO BLINK FIRST?!?
The rush of support that we received in ?Gulf War I? does not seem to be materializing this time around, unless of course, we believe the Administration?s claim of a cupboard full of secret allies!? As a matter of fact, and while we speak, President Bush is on the horn with the Russians attempting to convince them of the urgency of this cause! As for the Germans, an army that has banned it?s troops from sex while in service, a Justice Chief of Der Vaderland is likening Bush to Der Fuehrer (Hitler) for his actions and rhetoric over Iraq. As a matter of fact, this ?Hun Justice Chief? is claiming that Bush is merely going after Iraq to draw attention away from domestic problems!? As for the French, they too are slithering about in their own ?Jus de Escargot (snail juices)?, as concerns re-involvement in the Gulf! (Lafayette, where the hell are you hiding?) And in the Middle-East, ?Arafat of the Thousand Lives? is again pinned down (they say) in his crumbling compound, while suicide bombings seems to have become a terminal way of life in that neck of the wastelands!? On the home front, the stock market continues to yo-yo (mostly downward), the current administration is blaming former regimes for the mounting problems, and President Bush is busy attempting to replace the cart behind the horse where it belongs, again as concerns Iraq and it?s buddies at the UN. ?What in the hell ever happened to those good [?] old days when an enemy was kicked squarely in the ass without having to throw a tea party to beg for permission from the world to defend our interest or protect our national security?? Well George, you and dad certainly got what you (originally) wanted as far as this ?New World Order BS? is concerned! No one in the United States can even fart now, let alone act militarily against terrorism or other international dangers, unless the rest of the world gives us their OK, pats us upon the tush, or grants us their permission to respond in our own defense. By that time, most of our (so-called) allies have forgotten what it is that they were all pissed-off about, and the stage is again set for an instant replay! And what about that Sudanese pilot that was arrested. The one that allegedly had plotted to fly a plane into the White House! Lets see, that means that in recent times alone, we have had problems in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Libya, Egypt, Bosnia, etc, etc. ?Do you get the distinct feeling that a few of these folks don?t like us very much? ? ?Well, to hell with them all I say!? And as for a scant few of our staunch (or is that stench) allies that are locked-up in that 18-acre, 39 story ?Mental Institution On The East River (United Nations)?, remember this: ?UNCLE SAM HAS A LONG MEMORY, A SHORT TEMPER, AND EVER-TIGHTENING PURSE STRINGS? VERITAS ![]()

![]() Though not very uplifting and reassuring, I liked the part where you mentioned A Nazi comparing Bush to Hitler, and that war with Iraq was to divert attention from domestic problems.
Still, and in fairness to The Nazi, one could loosely make the case that the mass-murdering of almost 3,000 innocent civilians on 9/11,...was sort-of-a: "Domestic problem". Don't you think? Neil |
