The changing face of war

It appears the world is entering a period in which global strategic environmental alignments are changing rapidly and dramatically.

It is too early to tell what form of system will emerge.

We are experiencing a troubled and fractured planet where it seems civilisations are clashing along fault lines. We now inhabit a world of failed or failing states where mass civilian casualties is the main objective of conflict rather than its historical by-product.

You don't think its survival of the fittest do you? Tensions are such that when people don't have jobs or food things get terribly out of hand.

When people loose their rights things will get out of hand.
Peace on Earth is something a little ways off yet.

Though I have some good vibs about this old world. I really do think many changes have come about for the good. A little house cleaning will put it back in order. But like you said changes are in the wind.

These changes were talked about in college classes in the 80's, and so far, the predictions of those more knowledgable than I are coming to fruition. It all boiled down to those who have getting more, and those who have not getting less. Things that have been rolling along for the last decade or so. And the outcome is as was predicted. What would you do...give up everything in the hopes of peace? And will the material wealth create it, or will we manufacture more gods to fight over?
