![]() This post is dedicated to the memory of the USS THRESHER (SSN 593) and her crew, lost during deep dive trials off Cape Cod, on April 10, 1963.
112 US Navy crew members 17 civilian shipyard personnel of the Portsmouth Navy Shipyard. "Bless those who serve beneath the deep, Through lonely hours their vigil keep. May peace their mission ever be, Protect each one we ask of thee. Bless those at home who wait and pray, For their return by night or day." |

![]() That I am old enough to remember something that happened 40 years ago, and I was not a child when it happened. Mercy, Mercy.
God bless them and all of our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guard, they travel in Harms way so we don't have to. |
