Was watching the movie "Enemy of the State"...

again and something got my attention...Remember the part where Gene Hackman has retreated to his hide-away in the industrial park and decoded the tape that Will Smith has ? He notes that it is a video of a murder and sees Jon Voight and runs a check of his face against an NSA data base....It shows his birthday as 9/11/40.......!!!! What are the odds.. I guess 1 in 365...By the way the movie was made in 1998...Rather spooky I would say...no pun intended..

as it happens...there wasn't any reason to read his birth date out loud... there were 4 planes hijacked...the Pentagon was hit at 9:40....Brill ( Hackman ) used to work for the NSA. His last assignment was in Iran, monitoring communications coming out of Afganistan. Coincidence?


The 1998 Jerry Bruckheimer movie about the National Security Agency and its invasion-of-privacy tactics, which are justified as part of a war against terrorists. The movie focuses on how these tactics are turned against Will Smith's character for political reasons, but terrorism is a big part of the premise.

In the fighting the RAF comes off worst, losing 25 aircraft to the German loss of 29. Buckingham Palace is hit by a bomb but none of the Royal family is hurt. In fact, this is of benefit to national morale since it gives the impression that punishment is being shared fairly.
