Question Crapping Out!?

General Jay Garner, the man chosen to oversee the rebuilding of Iraq after the war, and Barbara Bodine, the acting Mayor of Baghdad, have (according to the media) been relieved as ineffectual? It is my opinion, however, that Aladdin Himself (Magic Lamp And All) couldn?t rebuild Iraq, given the current situation!!

Damned near from the git-go (beginning), various factions in Iraq have been playing a game of cut-throat and one-upsmanship in an effort to seize control and dictate the rules. The quickest and most effective way to do this, in my opinion, was through non-cooperation and road blocks. And this has become a way of life to some Middle-Easterners! (opinion)

Granted, the Shiites of Iraq were eager to rid themselves of Hussein. The same was true of the Kurds and the Iranians. The only factions that relished the status-quo were the French, the Germans and the Russians. Other international elements too, seized upon the moment for their own personal gains, while many more merely sat back waiting to feast upon the leftovers!

The tasks that was levied against Garner and Bodine were monumental, considering the bull shit that was continuously tossed in their path! And how easy it is for political types to take credit for success and hand-off failure. ?Hell, it?s the way of politics, is it not!?

It was obvious from the start that some of those who begged (literally) for our help, would attempt to kick us in the ass after victory was attained! How easy it is to sit back (like Germany, France, Russia, Mexico and Canada, etc), and then later emerge to lay claim to that which is not yours! And even in the Middle East, as it was in Gulf War I, many sought our aid and then showed us the front door, shortly after wards. Countries that, without our help may have ceased to exist!

The problem in Gulf War II was that Middle Eastern expectations were way out of line! They expected a rapid victory (and this they got), but they also expected their nations turned into Eden immediately, and the Coalition?s exodus even faster! ?The original rape without even a reach-around!?

Do you want to do something for the real heroes of this conflict Mr. President? Many of them can now only receive their rewards from God Himself. But those that came back wounded, in body, mind or spirit, are capable of being helped! Give them the accolades, the treatment and the benefits, and not those within the Middle East who took our blood and sacrifices and then ran!!

And as for those like Garner, Bodine and others, who also gave it their all, the failure was not theirs, as only ?Christ? was capable of turning water into wine and shit into a bed of roses!! (My Opinions)
