The pictures were great and I enjoyed seeing them. I was in Hawaii last October and went to Pearl Harbor also. The picture of "Big Mo" really brought back memories.

Did you get any pictures of the Arizona? Her remains still rest on the bottom not far from where "Big Mo" is moored. I remember looking into the water, from the memorial which was erected directly over the Arizona. You can still make out the Arizona's ghostly shape lying on the bottom and see the small amount of fuel oil which continues to leak from her Oil Bunkers to this day.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip to paradise. The islands really are beautiful. No matter when they are visited.

She looks a lot like the Alabama I was on in Mobile, AL. They look big but I took a tour and they are not really - that big. Huge guns and wooden deck - Iron clads for me no wood!

Looks like a nice trip - Enjoy the real world will soon be upon you when you return!

Boats glad you mentioned the Alabama seems in the Steven Segall movie they used the Alabama for the Location scenes that were supposed to be the Missouri. Now I know they really do look similar I got to see the Missouri while she was still active at Bremerton before they shipped her off to Hawaii. Being from Missouri I was hopeing they would park her at the Gateway Arch next to McDonalds and the Casinos would have been a neat vacation trip .
