![]() STANDARD BIG RIP-OFFS
by N.R.(Neil) Filidei Today's headline (11/7/03) in my local paper: J&J will close Route 1 plant , plus; "490 to lose jobs in New Brunswick", New Jersey at The Johnson & Johnson facility, truly got me thinking differently and/or less politically,...even though such detrimental to America type absurdities are usually politicized-to-death. Still, and even though just one more of many sadnesses suffered by The American Worker, it was nice for a change not reading in the article any Leftist innuendos and/or falsely blaming President Bush for these additional 490 jobs lost and going to Brazil, such as is normally done regarding the many other jobs lost to other foreign countries, solely for political oneupsmanship purposes. But then,...tomorrow is another day. So, rest assured that eventually Old Bush will be mercilessly attacked by those wishing to control every facet of American Life,...and Bush will even be blamed for these 490 jobs: "Going South", East, West, North or wherever. Apolitically and/or honestly, and thusly nothing more than corporate greed by cost cuttings that put Americans out of work aside, the forementioned BIG RIP-OFF got me also thinking and questioning another and even worse BIG RIP-OFF of The American People. I say: "Worse BIG RIP-OFF" since effecting millions of ill, physically disabled and also seniors of The Middle Class and/or vast majority of Americans. I've purposefully excluded The Rich (politicos inclusive) and The Poor from the equation for the obvious reasons and/or since both could care less about the absurdly high prices of drugs that Americans ALONE are unconscionably forced paying. Regardless, some questions that come to mind and I think worth pondering are as follows: Will needed drugs and medical necessities from J&J's new Brazilian facility be sold to Americans at the same price as sold to Brazilians and all other South & Central Americans? Or, will the prices of same drugs be automatically be doubled, tripled or more for: "We The (Schnooks)" of America, such as normally done by all Drug Companies? Will The American Government, FDA, Drug Companies and many other corporations (apparently all in collusion) still and most often continue favoring foreigners over Americans? Shouldn't "They" INSTEAD favor and be more concerned about the well being, health and welfare of Americans and/or those paying "Their" GREAT salaries, GREAT pensions, and ironically GREAT medical (since drugs included)...FIRST & FOREMOST? Hell, and since The American Taxpayer has ALREADY paid out great sums for Research & Developement for a large part every drug needed to date on earth (plus U.S. Taxpayer still doing so),...shouldn't Americans actually be paying less for needed drugs, than any other nationals in The World? Seems minimally-fair to me and/or one of those Perpetually RIPPED-OFF by Fellow Americans INSTEAD. Don't believe that big pharmaceutical nations like Norway or Sweden similarly and perpetually RIP-OFF their ill or infirmed and/or their respective citizenries with the drugs or medicines that "They" too produce for worldwide distribution? Do they? Wouldn't think so? The End |

![]() Today I read the Farmworkers Union are wanting us to Boycott Taco Bell and Mount Olive Pickles .Because they claim they are being paid too little. Now the Question I have is these same farmworkers a lot of them are migrant workers some are "undocumented workers" So, I guess all the savings the Farmers got for hiring illegals Oops I mean undocumented workers are now going to be pressured to pay health insurance for them and give them the new fangled living wage(minimum wage + allowances for geographic location). Here in Georgia and else were many farmers have gone to mechanical pickers that waste a lot of produce in the field. But you can't afford to hire workers for the wages they want now days. The Farmer has to pay the wages then be told by groups that they are not paying the workers enough. Now I ask you this who pays the Farmers Health Insurance? The answer: The Farmer, and he doesn't get a multi user discount like Microsoft so a years health insurance for him and his family could probably pay for a fairly good number of employees at Boing or any other major company. If Mr.Greenjeans the Farmer has to pay Health Insurance for the migrant workers then what is the use of them belonging to the Farmworkers Union? I thought Unions were formed to get stuff like Health Insurance? I guess if the Undocumented workers pay Union Dues they don't get much for their dollars?

![]() I wasn't exactly thinking along those lines. But, the-bottom-line for such things always seems to come out the same. Such being foreigners (here legally or illegally) apparently have better representation by OUR Representatives of OUR Representative Government than: "We The (Schnooks)", the vast majority and/or The Payers FOR EVERYTHING will ever have. Truly a shame, since all oaths taken to serve,...are to The American Citizenry ALONE.

![]() But, since actually hard pressed to find any Lenilenapis (New Jersey's initial inhabitants) around lately,...I guess they could quite easily be referred to as: "Schnooks", much like many other tribes no longer existant.
Regardless Jerry, and since: "We The (Schnooks)" is my favorite and most used expression, since depicting we politicized-to-death Americans quite well has come up,...it made me think of when I first looked-up the word: "Schnook", to see if I was always spelling it correctly. It checked-out OK, since spelled pretty-much as it sounds. However, and just below schnook I spotted a TRULY GREAT WORD describing our political lords and masters. The word being: "Schnoorer". So, I guess that will be my second most favorite word? The word schnoorer is also of Yiddish derivative, just as schnook is. The definition of schnoorer is: n. Slang One who habitually takes advantage of the generosity of others; a parasite. Add to the definition of: Schnoorer, "....advantage of the generosity of others" UNTIL THE DEATH OF HE & ENTIRE FAMILY (re. grandeos political retirement packages),...and now we're really defining most of America's career politicians much more accurately. Wouldn't you think? Neil :cl: |

![]() Got your: "Nods" for; "Schnooks" describing US well OK.
So then,...what do you think about: "Schnoorers" defining our political lords, masters and rulers? For my taste,...I personally think that for career politcos, just plain: "Schnoorers" is much to mellow. Maybe with a few additives like: Self/Clique-Serving, unconscionable and greedy Schnoorers, it might be more realistic and definitive? Whatever,...certainly sounds better to me. Neil ![]() ![]() |
