We were at IHOP the other day and in talking to our waitress found out it was her first job and she had been working for a month. She is 16 and goes to an optional school and is taking AP courses. She mentioned that she didn't have a computer and that it was a hassle because all of her work had to be done on a word processor. I had an old IBM Aptiva and gave her the whole setup and it was just what she needed. If you have any old computer equipment, consider giving or donating it to some high school student who may not be able to afford a computer, but would be happy with even an old computer system.

You Know,,, Thats a good idea,, I will bring this up to our city council. Our city changes computers about every 6 months.

Real good idea.

Karen is a scavenger, she goes to Garage sales all the time and while going there, she will notice something on the side of the road ready for trash pick up, so what does she do, yep, stops and picks it up, and brings it home and works on it, and it does work most of the time just everyone updating their computors.

You go to a garage sale on Fri, Sat, and then Sun ( when noone buys the things ) and you can get one for almost free.

She done this last year for XMAS for a friend of hers and she now enjoys it all the time.
