Not that I am awere of, It snows in Dallas also. We get 1 or 2 days a year that it gets cold enough to freeze, But the ground is still warm enough to not let pipes and plants freeze. It takes a good week of freezing weather to make ground water freeze, we just don't get that to often. Now bridges are a different story. Ever watch a Texan go over a ice covered bridge, Its funny. I was driving into Houston once on a real cold day, There were two other cars on the highway, One in front of me and one behind me. We all went over a bridge that had ice on it, The one in front of me starts spinning clockwise and the one behind me starts spinning counter clockwise, they both ended up in the ditch, I drove on to Houston, idiots. Every year when we go snow sking I get elected to drive, Texans can't drive in snow or ice, its in there jeans.
