"A Slip of The Lip...."

It's truly too bad that the wise old: "A Slip of The Lip can Sink A Ship" mentality no longer prevails during this latest and most dangerous of all wars,...declared on us by murderous terrorists. After all, such worked quite well during WWII to keep the enemy quite ignorant as to our defenses and objectives.

Nowadays, all the enemy has to do to find out any sensitive intelligence, troop deployments (in detail) and our plans for defense (in detail) or offensives (in detail),...is to merely turn on a radio or television. What an absolutely self-defeating and/or national foolishness!

What got hackles-up about the national lunacy, was this morning's news. Some Expert (don't remember name) was nonchalantly stating with words to the effect that: "We are in the process of trying to make Air Travel 100% secure and safe". Also: "We're working on ways of detecting any radio activated explosives planted on aircraft". That's nice.

WOW(!),...Talk about expediting the enemy to: "Get-off-the-dime" and/or forcing the enemy to more quickly do their dastardly deeds, BEFORE we develope such safeguards and have them in place at all airports. I believe that if there was ever a time to flat-out-lie to The Public and thus purposefully disinform our enemies,...DIS-IS-DUH-TIME.

I would be funny, if not so sad. Yeah, that's right. Americans might be recorded as The Best Informed and most politically-correct DEAD PEOPLE in The History of The World.
