Datona for many many years was THE race in NASCAR, I guess it still is, Im not real interested in Datona, or Taladaga, Restrictor plate raceing is for grandmas. The only thing good that is comming out of Daytona this year is the pace car, Very cool indeed.
There are only a handfull of races worth watching any more in Nextel cup.
Want to see some real racing, Watch ARCA or sportsman class. or even trucks,
NASCARs bullshit rules try to make all the brands equal. Thats not racing, its 43 cars driving in a circle. Real stupid if ya ask me.

Bristol at night. 43 cars start and the crappy NASCAR rules against Ford don't apply. Downforce is not an issue.
We don't need no stinking restrictor plate.

I like what Sterlin' said about Bristol. "It's just like flying a fighter jet in a gymnasium.

That says it! I also HATE restrictor plate racin'. If you remember it was to stop accidents like The King had in his 43 "Ponyac". Ask Newman, last year, or Waltrip, this year, if that works. Let them RACE!
