Exclamation A Photo for the Rotorheads!

Ifns you go to the Gallery and look under Conflicts/Enduring Freedom/Aviation. You will see my post. My hubby sent this one to me. Out of all the aviation photos I've ever seen this is ranked as one of the most outrageous! I love the rotor control that pilot has.
He is an EMS and reservist. If ever I need a life flight I want that man to fly me out!

Chinook isn't exactly the most agile of airships either!

Awesome picture. Had a ride one one once after losing a tail rotor and putting down (hard) in indian country. I've never had a bad word to say about the s**thook ever since.

It was a common problem that the H-47 suffered from shaft separtion, thus loosing the rear rotor. Never a good thing, some times the shaft would break loose and do some damage to the cabin area. Great Bird otherwise. It has more good flight time than bad.
