The Bright Side Of The Gasoline Rip-off!
I just saw a poll online that asked about preventative maintenance in preparation for summer driving. ?Have you changed your coolant and oil, rotated your tires, etc, etc?? Well Hell, maybe we should all give a rousing cheer for big oil!? I mean, after all, look how much pollution they are preventing, not to mention the conservation of dwindling (?) fuel supplies, and lowering the accident rates, by fixing it where many people won?t even be able to afford to drive down to the corner store, let alone out of state? I suppose that this alone, although totally unintentional on the part of big (greed-ridden) business is a silver lining, if but a small one! And speaking of silver, that imaginary silver lining is as close to any precious medal as most of you are going to get these days! Is it something in the water or air perhaps, that makes some people believe that this "Hundred Year War", gas that only Midas can afford, the uncontrolled influx of aliens, and the attempted control of our way of lives by foreign powers, is a good thing? Is the loss of manufacturing prowess, political excuses instead of solutions, constant finger pointing instead of accountability, and that sickening "What Me Worry" (Cheshire) grin, plastered all over the corpulent faces of the ?Hurrah For Me, Screw You Sect? indicative of a society of equal justice under the law? And where will this vested army of "Eternal Optimistic Politicos" be, when and if the big balloon bursts - on the French Riviera perhaps, sucking down French champagne, Russian Caviar, and German propaganda, along side our steadfast (?) friends around the globe!! And last, but not least, who among those now claiming that everything is just wonderful, especially in politics, will admit to their errors in judgment? Will these lying cretins suffer along side the rest of us, as a result of their pre-planned (?) mistakes and screw-ups? "I THINK NOT!!" Am I a worrywart - hell-yeah, somebody had better be a worrier! This speak-easy, wine and roses, cake and ale mindset (one that has sized up far too many by the short hairs), has ?ALWAYS? been fatal to the dreamers, the toilers, and the ever-lasting fools, who trusts or believe totally, and without qualification! "Mis-placed trust often is, however, the invigorating tonic of the me-ist and the fairytale artists!!" (AMEN) "Wake-up and take a long, hard whiff my friends! That ain?t roses blowing in the wind. It is greed, con, spin and maybe even oblivion?" (OPINION) VERITAS
