Update!
Hey Patriot Files Family,
Well, a few things have changed since I last updated you! I have been assigned to the 128th Medical Co, GA - Det 1, 1st Plt. We went through MODRE and SRP last month and our window for heading to the sandbox opens 10 SEP 04 and we have been told that we will be downrange no later than OCT. We've been on alert now since 5 JUN. Our assignment is convoy support and we will be locked with 2nd Light CAV and an armor div. I just don't remember which now. Things went quicker with MODRE and SRP this time around than during the readiness for Desert Storm. I guess they've perfected the art now. More shots - Tet., Hep, Typh. and the blood drawn for DNA and drug, HIV. Ran through dental and am a class II. JAG set me up right. SGLI is raised to $250,000, and BLAH BLAH BLAH...you get the picture. I'll update you again very soon! While all this has been going I bought my first house! Ok, I'll bore you again later!
