Why do I always have to enter a new password to get on the bb

I don't understand why I have to keep changing my password to get on the bb. When I tried logging onto the genreal post forum and the Vietnam forum I kept getting a message that says there has been no activity on this board for 1000 days, does anyone out there know what this means, do any of you have the same problem. Please let me know so I can correct it.
