USA Going Bankrupt?

Last night I watched a talk show Joe Scarbough and they talked about the the country going bankrupt in the near future with all debt we've acquired.

It was really scary that in the next ten years we could be totally bankrupt as a nation. Our National Debit is so high and we owe so much money that congress can't get it under control.

Baby Boomer's (I'm one) will be retiring and Social Security won't be there, our kids and grandkids will be left with so much debit that they can't afford to pay - it was really terrible news.

The bad thing is the government knows this but can't find anyway to correct the debit that we've gotten ourselves into.

Senator McCain knew this and tried to make the public aware of this issue long ago and no one listened. Both parties are guilty of this debit with all the pork and special interest project's that were kicked back for those in office.

It may be on again in more detail in the next couple days I really want to find out just how bad a shape we are in. Our congressional people have put us into this position and they knew we would suffer this damning debit onto our kids and grandkids.

What a legacy to leave them.

I just sent Joe an e-mail about this issue. He got out of the government most likely because of the system and current way of doing business.

Too much graft to many special interest. The system is so top-heavy and when you are spending more than you have and the shortcomings will eventually come full circle.

One thing the government does is if they run short of money they either make more or borrow against our future. If we did that they would put us in jail.
