Default name calling

You know, I can't say to much bad about the name calling cause I told David to get F---d and he kicked me off the sight for 4 or 5 months. But some of you guys are acting like your 12 years old.
You are grown men are you not?
Talking about each others mothers. What the hell? For an election?
Although I don't like Kerry (for his VN stuff) I belive he would have made an allright president, The country would have servived.

You know, a Million years from now the earth will still be hear, It will just be called Earth/plastic.
Your argueing over nothin.

Ron, couldn't agree more. Been seeing some mean-spirited, personal stuff being said on here over politics for a year now. Some stuff that can never be made right or taken back, and that's sad. Hope it ends soon and people go back to being veterans sharing a common bond; friends respecting each other; but most importantly, being Americans. Just Americans instead of Democrats/Republicans; Liberals/Conservatives; being citizens of the same nation instead of the Left/Right. The phrase "Divide and Conquer" is a truism.

Default Better effort on my part

Hence forth and forevermore, I'm making a concerted effort to refrain from any name calling, and stick to verifiably derogatory descriptions. From my vantage point, this is not a contradiction, but a means of semantical description. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong.

Default I'll

Believe it when I see it!

SOS from SuperShouter that we've seen and heard before.

Hey Super......................John Mellencamp has a new song out that you should REALLY listen to very, very carefully. It's called.................WALK TALL..............excellent advice for someone of your less than scrupulous & dishonest, and unethical character failures. :cd:

Just tryin to help............

Here's the lyrics to his new song..........just for YOU Super....

############

The simple minded
And the uninformed
Can be easily led astray
And those that cannot connect the dots
Hey look the other way
People believe what they want to believe
When it makes no sense at all
So be careful of those killing in Jesus's name
He don't believe in killing at all
And I wish you a long sight line
And the strength to walk tall

Walk tall
Yeah walk on
Through this world
Walk tall

Somewhere out in the distance
Is the death of you and me
Even though we don't think of it much
It's still out there for us to see
If you treat life like a bar room fight
You'll die stinking of gin
No drunkards are allowed in heaven
No sinners will get in

Walk tall
Yeah, walk on
Walk tall
Through this world
Walk tall

So be careful in what you believe in
There's plenty to get you confused
And in this land called paradise
You must walk in many men's shoes

Bigotry
and hatred are enemies to us all
Grace, mercy and forgiveness
Will help a man walk tall

So walk tall
Yeah, walk on
Walk tall
Through this world
Through this world
Yeah, walk tall
Then walk on
Walk tall
Then walk on

################

Here's hoping you learn to finally "walk tall" there Super........you've got a long, long "walk" ahead of you!

Default An opinion

After the blood letting of the Revolutionary War our ancestors created a nation. It wasn't easy, matter of fact there was lots of name calling and even saber rattling. The genius of our forefathers was their ability to compromise. They sure didn't agree on everything but the North still talked to the South, the small states talked with the large states and eventually came up with one nation. Our country was built on compromise and as any democracy must continue to compromise if we want to exist.

The only time in our history the ability to compromise failed was just after the election of 1860. We all know about the horror that took place as a result. In the election of 2004 there was nothing as divisive as the issue of slavery. Even if there had been something which ripped us apart, knowing history, we would have had a moral obligation to compromise.

We would be well served to accept the notion that we don't all think the same, we don't all see the same events like everyone else. God, I would hate a country of Stepford Wives. Lets continue to disagree, we have that right, we fought for that right. But please keep in mind we are Americans. Even if someone really disagrees with you, they are not a Nazi or a Communist, they are Americans who believe in our Republic. Maybe the best idea is to never type while angry.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Default Gimp

Please post your spout elsewhere,

SS Said "I'm making a concerted effort to refrain from any name calling",

And first chance you get you say back to him, "for someone of your less than scrupulous & dishonest, and unethical character "

Now Just what would you have him do, Not reply to your coments?

1st , who could posibly care what John Melincamp has to say, Hes a singer/entertainer, His opinion about anything is almost worthless.
2nd. start your own thread if you wish to call people names, or I will ask David to remove your replies to my thread.

Ron

Default RIGHT-ON...Ron.

Good response. Still, you've got to see the warped irony of it all? Those Leftist Fanatics usually and ACTUALLY of: "Less than scrupulous & dishonest, and unethical character" THEMSELVES,...are most often the ones character assassinating any politically opposing them, with their normally quite twisted, shameless and perverted rhetoric (The Leftist/Obstructionist norm).

Fortunately, and since The Dems/Libs/Socialists/Leftists have normally done so many times in the recent past,...by now most Americans must realize that such nonsense is nothing more LOOSER WHINNINGS by some political hacks having little (if anything?) worthwhile and constructive saying. Insults(?)...galore.

In fact, ANYONE spouting such demeaning and self/clique supremacy dribble and nonsense nowadays, actually makes themselves look quite bad, shameless, petty and lame,...which I believe to be absolutely great since finally exposing THEMSELVES as the longtime hypocrits that "They" actually are and have been.
Yes,...there is A God!!!

Default R-eil

I wasn't trying to take sides in a political thing, I just wanted us to stop calling each other names.
SS made an attempt. put his hand out, and Gimp shit in it, Now he can start his own thread and call everyone names if thats what he chooses, but not hear on my thread.
As far as the politics of this goes, Both sides have been cut-n-paste what ever makes them look good or the other side look bad, for a very long time.
I don't agree with all of what President Bush stands for, IE. abortion, school voutures, stem cell, his religon, and a few more, BUT, the majority of what he and the republican party stand for, I do agree with,
The point is, I may call you a name for not beliving in what I belive in, but, it will be to your face, That don't mean I wouldn't call a group of people a name, IE, people from California are stupid, and I can only think of a few exceptions to my thinking.
We should be able to carry on a resonable conversation/debate without acting like school kids.

Ron
