![]() DAMN-IT-ALL...Folks
by N.R. Filidei (political commentary on patriotfiles. com forum - 12/9/04) When-the-hell are America's Politicians and/or America's Ruling Elite governors of The People, The U.S. Military and all U.S. Agencies (System echoing journalists and other notables of voice also),...going to come to their collective senses? America's running out of time. Maybe even luck, also? Hasn't it already been proven about 3,000 WAYS (re. the about 3,000 "9/11" victims), in that valid, legitimate and iron-clad reliable photo and fingerprint IDs and/or Driver Licenses are desperately needed TO PROTECT THE AMERICAN CITIZENRY & AMERICAN SOIL? Besides, what else could be of more timely importance to our political leaders or The Political Parties taking turns ruling and dictating policies for America, than protecting The American Citizenry...first and foremost? Sure, one of America's largest political lobbies (re. Dems/Libs/Socialists/Leftists/Societal Engineers or WHATEVER?) most always champion the existing absurd reality that Criminally Illegal ALIENS (definitely not IMMIGRANTS by any stretch or worldly standard),...should all have easy access to American Photo IDs or Driver Licenses. Doesn't seem mattering that foreign dregs, foreign smugglers, foreign criminals, and even murderous foreign terrorists can then move about freely and quite un-restricted throughout America at will? But, so what? Why go along with such a naivete' encouraged by political fools? Need MANY MORE Americans be murdered because of the war declared on USA by fanatical Middle Eastern Islamic Terrorists,...just to pervertedly satisfy The Democrat's always quite purposeful intent of improving their STAUNCHLY-INTRANSIGENT (since beholding solely to "Them") VOTER BASE? I don't think so. Yeah,...that's right Folks. Besides illigitimate Licenses permitting those whom have avowed to kill as many Americans as is physically possible to vote as if American Citizens,...such an overall nonsense permit our would be assassins easy access to planes, trains, banks, or wherever and/or wherever legitimate visitors or tourists here, and The American Citizenry congregate. Sad, but true. Doesn't anyone else believe it quite asinine for American Politicians (of whatever bent) to perpetually debate over and over and over and/or waltz-the-public-around in perpetuity,...over what's obviously and unarguably a matter of GREAT (overall quite deadly and lethal also) CONCERN? I surely believe such quite asinine (at best). In point of fact, I personally believe that DENYING The American Public one of the most needed and best Homeland Security safeguarding tools possible TODAY (ie. best state of the art identification possible),...even defies logic (unless suicidal?). I also believe that such a DENIAL to The American People is as enemy helpful, criminally-cavalier of American Politicians or malfeasance of office displaying,...AS-IT-GETS!!! "We The People" (civilian, law enforcement, intelligence and military) DESERVE BETTER. Hell,...WE DESERVE MUCH BETTER!!! Besides, past or future (quite likely) American Deaths (both civilian and military) should never be politicized. No ifs, ands or buts. Nor, America's nonsensical obsession with absurdly foreign favoring ABOVE ALL ELSE political-correctness,...EITHER. The End Neil ![]() ![]() |

![]() Take a deep breath, and repeat after me: "Immigration reform will be priority #1 in the next congressional sesson." Now, don't you feel better? Seriously, the illegal driver's license thing probably didn't belong in the Intel Bill in the first place, but I'm glad that Sensenbrenner brought it to the national attention. My money is on the promise of the Speaker that it will be HRC #1 in the next session.
And part of any reasonable immigration reform must include some form of valid, counterfeit-proof ID card. I firmly believe that we have the technology, brains and will to create a national ID system that will easily spot aliens, over-extended visa users, and attempts at voter fraud. Since security is a national issue, a national case can be made for a national ID system; normally, I'm all atwitter with States' Rights, but when it comes to our national security, States' Rights take a back seat.

![]() "A deep breath" just won't do it.
![]() After all, America needs ACTUAL: "Immigration Reform" like another hole in the head. All politicians (journalists also) should start using correct nomenclatures for laws,...instead of people-appeasing ones. Besides, wasn't Jimmy Carter's: "Immigration Reform", giving away to select foreign nationals a preferential treatment/status, and even The People's Social Security Monies to foreign IMMIGRANTS never having paid a dime into F.I.C.A.,...sufficient enough? Then too, what-the-hell does America's LONGTIME (about 30 years) and currently stronger than ever: "Criminally Illegal Alien Invasion" have to do with; "Immigration Reform", anyway? Only Dems or foreigner-favoring Leftists and/or ACLU types could make such an intelligence insulting (even though politically-correct and/or quite deceptively purposeful) comparison. Also, and besides penalizing REAL & LEGITIMATE Immigrants waiting on quotas for many years to come to America,...what-the-hell does this latest: "Immigration Reform" have to do with: 1. Foreigners ILLEGALLY and quite easily entering and travelling throughout America at will? 2. Foreigners ILLEGALLY and quite easily voting for their American benefactors at will? 3. Foreigners ILLEGALLY and quite easily having access to Killing Americans at will? Oh, and by the way Brice and all others,...Foreign Criminals (especially murderous Islamic assassins of democracy's infidels) don't usually obey ANY LAWS, much less Immigration Laws, anyway. Only the law-abiding American Citizenry and/or quite likely victims of terrorism do,...even while their only actual defense is to stay: "Alert". Yeah, sure??? That's all very reassuring for me, mine and yours,...and/or every American Citizen of America. Neil |

![]() If nothing else, this particular area of the world has to take universal top awards for being the most invaded, romped on, stomped on, squished, cuffed around, rode hard and put away wet, cross bread, interbred and generally taken advantage of by anyone with more guns, swords, horses, arrows, troops or whatever. Plus I don?t think there is such a thing as a non-quasi hostile border anywhere and there is no end of the cross border pant leg peein contests in all directions of the compass. Something like nine countries border up against Hungary and most of them are up to no good most of the time and visa versa as well, eh. To keep the chaos down to a dull roar every country has a National I.D. card program that is very elaborate and the story is ?don?t leave home without it?. Unlike these countries, the US hasn?t been on the wrong side of history for the last millennium or so, but that doesn?t mean we can?t get there fairly easily and all the piss-anting around with drivers licenses and the like is just an engraved invitation for the unthinkable to happen. Maybe then some beltway Phi Beta Capa nitwit to finally get the vision, ?Gee maybe that wouldn?t have happened if we had had some viable I.D. card program?.

![]() Inspite of your being an ex-"Anchor Cranker"
![]() Well,...that's enough of that. People will think that we're somehow related, or that I'm trying to weasel-out of paying you back some large debt. Regardless, and even though never having met or even spoken on the telephone, it's truly a national shame that most of those in authority don't have similar traits like being rational and having common sense approaches about worldly matters and realities,...such as yourself (no doubt others here on patriotfiles.com also). If so, The American Citizenry would be MUCH BETTER SERVED regarding that: "Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness" thing,...with an emphasis on that; "Life" bit. Sure, and as Brice alluded to (saw same on TV), a quite rarity in statesmanship (re. Senator Sensenbrenner) will be pushing against the political and/or ACLU type tide in January, for a quite sensible American National Identification for all American Citizens. But, so what? Isn't such what most nations on earth (even Third World Nations) already have,...and have had FOR QUITE SOME TIME? America's FINALLY catching-up with Third World Nations' Security aside, only fools can't realize the obvious and/or that without valid American Identifications, NO AMERICANS ARE SAFE from foreign hostile intent,...and right here and within OUR VERY OWN BORDERS (absurdly quite hostile-friendly also). Yeah, sure: "Send me your weak, your impoverished,..." and you murderous Islamic assassins. That way,..."They" just won't hate us as much, and just won't kill us as much. Think that's what most all foolish Dems and/or ACLU types honestly believe? Besides, only fools would perpetually politicize and debate national safety and security policies, which should've been mandated and put into place...AT LEAST 30 YEARS AGO. How many more: "9/11"s are needed before most politicians come to their senses? Let's start being sensitive and caring about The American Citizenry's well being,...for-a-change. Let other nations worry about and care for their own respective nationals,...for-a-change. Besides, don't: "We The (Schnooks)" and/or The American Taxpayer dole-out enough Foreign Aid for such...ALREADY (over and over and over)??? I would think so. Neil |

![]() Neil,
One thing for certain about being in a functional Republic like the US is that logic and reason is usually up for debate as inevitably someone is going to get his or her toes stepped on and yelp like hell. I always find that a very healthy sign, but in the case of National Security, I believe the debate needs to begin and then come to some conclusion. Alas, anything but this perpetual limbo state where the mere mention of these issues is a political kiss of death on either side of the chalk line. Thus far the very thought of security in terms of bipartisan cooperation has either been a rude joke on the American people or cause to clear the room lest someone gets splattered by the flying remains of some Senator or House Rep that would be so unwise and imprudent as to set about defining the problem and possible solution options. Most of us who have had the military experience or similar civilian occupations, or retain a Passport, foreign visas, security clearance, etc., don?t see a big issue with rendering photos, paw prints, digits and stats as that is a par for the course kind of exercise. But obviously, others do have problems and issues that presently loom larger than the incredible risk we are taking. I just hope Col. Scout is right and at long last someone(s) has the guts and balls to begin the debate on this vital issue. Hell, pass out hard hats, safety glasses and splatter jackets/overalls for the timid congressional ones or maybe they can wear disguises or a black bit of tape across their eyes. But let?s begin the debate and get to some status other than limbo, limbo low, keep your interval and know where the bunker is located. Scamp

![]() Certainly can't disagree with anything you've stated.
Still, you've got to see the sad irony of it all, since America is ONLY NOW politically debatting desperately needed safety and security measures, and/or what actually should've already been in place...ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO, especially for protection against and detering those looking to overrun us,...or just plain kill us. Truly an Absolutely Amazing!!! ID & BORDER type of Honor System that we have. "Only in America"!!! And that a worldly fact,...people. Neil P.S. It truly doesn't matter whether America's LONGTIME un-corrected and unarguable national failures are politically tied into: Homeland Security, "Intelligence Reform" or even the people-pacifyingly misnamed; "Illegal IMMIGRANTS" (actually Illegal ALIENS and our LONGTIME & EVER INCREASING PROBLEM caused by A Criminally Illegal Alien Invasion),...our pretty-much non-existant American IDs and American Borders...are: "Absolutely Amazing!!!", even by nonsensical ACLU and/or DEMOCRAT Standards. |
