AGREE OR DELETE


When I had to testify at the murder trial of my parents a week ago, I was asked to raise my right hand. The bailiff started out "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?"

I stood there and waited but she said nothing. She said, "Do you?"

I was so stunned I blurted out "What happened to "so help me God'?" She came back with "Do you?" I replied yes, but I was perplexed. Then the judge said, "You can say that if you want to."

I stopped, raised my right hand, and finished with "So help me God!" I told my son and daughter that when it came time for them to testify, they should do the same. It's no wonder we have so many problems in this country. If I'd had my wits about me I'd have told them that taking God out of the courtroom is only going to result in more criminals and murderers like him being in there! I don't know what can be done about it, but it's time we stepped up and did something.

CNBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls and the percentage was the same as this: 86% to keep the words, 14% against. That is a pretty commanding public response.

I was asked to send this on if I agreed or delete if I didn't. Now it is your turn. It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having "In God We Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the 14% to Sit Down and SHUT UP!!!

You got me all fired up!!! It all goes back to the ACLU and their ability to scare the $hit out of our chicken$hit politicians to get them to remove the word God from government document. I applaud you for what you did. Tomorrow I have to testify in criminal court The bailiff better not omits God during the swearing in.......If you dont hear from me that means the judge threw me in jail for contempt.

Still, you've gotta see the irony of it all, and especially for a nation pushing democracy and/or Majority Rule, all over The World.

Maybe America should get back to that: "Majority Rule" bit itself(?), and divorce itself from that ACLU type and/or MINORITY RULE(everyway possible) bit, such as has been dictatorially shoved-down-our-throats by ruling elite,...FOR MANY YEARS.

Besides, isn't: "Majority Rule" mainly what REAL democracy is all about?

Majority rule dont mean $hit anymore.....we've gone back to the old saying "the wheel that squeeks the most, gets the most greese" While we (the majority)just sit back and let some fool group like the ACLU control our every thought and action.

We must not offend the minority, they have feelings you know. Who cares about the feelings and ideals of the majority. Yep, PC is nothing more than rule by the minority.


In most places the option of "affirming" or "so help me God " has been around for years. This is not a new thing. Even when I was in High School back in the early 60's you could affirm that you would "tell the true the whole truth, I so solemnly affirm." So this is nothing new. But, not to give the option is unusual.

Unfortunately for America as a whole,...Your absolute and unequivocating honesty about current America is well understood. Thusly, and in that context I guess it's more than fair saying that terms like: "Free at last, Free at last,...", just simply don't and haven't (for quite some time) meant diddly-squat for the overwhelmingly VAST MAJORITY of Americans. For minorities and foreigners, of course.

Maybe, if the overwhelmingly VAST MAJORITY were as tight knit, united in resolve and effort, and just as apparently quite forceful and LOUD as America's RULING ELITE MINORITY have become,...We Americans might at least have a fighting chance? As is, and since no one dare not offend or go against any minorities, foreigners (here legally or otherwise) and many foreigner-favoring ABOVE ALL ELSE Officials, Politicians, Zealots and supportive of such Journalists(?),...just grin-and-bear-it.

Then too, even if the VAST MAJORITY were to differently become much less timid and just as forceful and LOUD as America's RULING ELITE MINORITY normally are, such a currently righteous and rightful indignation against a minority based dictatorial rule would automatically (quite deceptively also) label those so honest and brave as: "Radical Right Wing Racists, Bigots and Homophobes", by America's self-annointed Moral Superiors (actually quite the opposite or socialists) and their greatly supportive Press/Media (the other pompous and all-knowing dupes of our fast becoming a TOTALLY Socialist State).

Sorry Bob. But, maybe no matter what the overwhelmingly vast majority of self reliant, God Loving and: "Duty, Honor, Country" Patriotic Americans do these days,...we will forever be ACLU-like and/or MINORITY RULED?

Damn,...truly hope I'm wrong, and that Americans eventually wake-up and return us to being an ACTUAL democracy again,...just like Our Forefathers and their Revolution fought for This Representative Republic so intended?

I have dealt closely with both groups.....I have never in my life met a bunch of pompas a$$holes like these people. Hell they'll probably read this and i'll get to download my own subpoena for the law suit.
