Saw special on stealthy ships last night
I was really impressed on the way they are coming up with new ways to protect our Naval Buds. The program enlightened me on many new programs to protect our ships from becoming major radar targets.
No right angle contact points thereby deflecting the radar up and a away or at least not back to its sender. Hide away gun racks - no hands on deck - offset mast and - hand rails no longer round - dog handles are even squared. It's amazing how much is really going on behind the scenes and that tells me technology is finally making the rounds. I only worry now that they don't make square shells or bullets that would be pretty extreme! ha ha I think the program was on Discovery channel. They have some pretty cool stuff every now and then.
