Non-responsive Government?
Have you ever asked yourself why some elements of government (and it's captive bureaucracies) often seem to be non-responsive to the people who hired them to do a critical job?
Is it complacency, the insanity of absolute power, or is it perhaps bureaucratic heredity and an artificially created environment of untouchablity, that turns a few of our political Dr Hydes into bottomless feeding machines?
After all is said and done, even a ?Morty-Meekly? can be quickly transformed into "Captain Marvel" when exposed to unbridled grandiosity, limited control mechanisms, and the power over life and death! And when this highly combustable mixture is fueled with rampant apathy on the part of the electorate, the resulting conflagration can engulf an entire society!
Yes indeed, if a scant few within government seem to give a damn less about what the people wish, want or desire, remember - it was we alone that created the monster! In fact, we fed it and fed it until it literally became more powerful that it?s sires!
?As it is with all such little beasties, however, when it gets all that it can hold (If there is such a point of satiation), it sometimes even snaps at the hands that fed it, nurtured it, and even loved it!"
