Default "Yeller" Ribbons for their Fat "Yeller" A$$E$!

Now I'm REALLY PI$$ED!

A Yellow Ribbon for their Fat Yellow Asses!

A tip of the hat to this Arizona pundit that recently wrote this!

What a shameful story...!

####

June 20, 2005....from wire services..

John Tod of Mesa, Arizona had been prepared to face Father's Day worrying about his son's pending date with the war in Iraq.
Then Uncle Sam stepped in with more disappointing developments.

Marine Pfc. Jeremy Tod called home with news that his superiors were urging him and fellow Marines to buy special military equipment, including flak jackets with armour plating, to enhance the prospects of their survival.

The message was that such purchases were to be made by Marines with their own money.

"He said they strongly suggested he get this equipment because when they get to Iraq they will wish they had," Tod said.

Total estimated cost: $600.

Tod said his son's call about two weeks ago from the Marine Corps Air Station-Yuma was a sobering reminder that the military is not prepared to equip Pfc. Tod and fellow Marines with the best equipment.

####

So hey, all you phucked up rightwingnuts who are so hepped up about Dick Durbin, care to explain why your fat-ass republican masters who own this little dust-up in Mess-opotamia can't buy proper body armor for our Marines (and I'm sure a few others).

STILL............AFTER MORE THAN TWO GD YEARS OF THIS BULL$HIT!

You hypocrites make me sick to my stomach!

You bitch and moan about something a Senator says on the floor of the U.S. Senate and want to see HIM "impeached"...........and yet none of you will say a PHUCKIN THING about how YOUR GLORIOUS LEADER has FAILED MISERABLY to adequately supply our beloved troops with proper body armour for God's sake!

What does THAT say about your "blind obedience" to your puppet masters, huh?

It's not new news that families have been sending body armor over to Iraq to keep their loved ones alive since the start of this $hit. But this is the first time I have heard of an official directive from someone's chain of command to buy their own body armor. To the tune of $600.

Newsflash for all the overpaid republicans out there, $600 is probably pretty close to a paycheck for some junior enlisteds. And it's quite a hit for those with families i.e. wives and kids.

So, how bout them Yeller Ribbons , you Yeller Elephants ? Is this called "supporting our troops" or is this called "I got my tax-cut, You got no Armor" to the tune of Eddie Murphy's "Ice Cream Man"?

How bout get OFF yer "Yeller A$$" and give a call to the "Yeller" CIC (Chickenhawk In Charge) and see if he can free up some of those $$$$$$$$ from those GD tax cuts for the "Yeller" Off-Shore Companies (Like Yeller Cheneys' former employer, Haliburton!)whose FORMER tax revenues would have BOUGHT those "body armour" jackets that our young troopers and their families are having to purchase....OK?????

Just asking!

I haven't got ALL the facts readily at hand to cite, but ever since the tactics of this war changed, long ago, the DOD has been and is breaking its butt to provide correct supply for all who are in theatre.

If I'm not mistaken, I think one of the factories that uparmors Humvees is and has been working 24-hour shifts...

I haven't heard lately anything about the vests, but not long ago did see a mention that things have improved a lot in that area too.

Problem is, we don't get regular sitreps on these matters, from our media.

The testimony I've read from guys who are doing the fighting there seldom ever mentions any lack they are experiencing. I have seen some reports, mainly from NG and Reserve units about it though, but don't know the current status.

Just gave you the "facts"?

The prosecution and equipment supply of this war along with the absolute rejection of this administrations warning by former Senior members of our military about the subsequent "insurgency" is nothing short of treasonous and/or criminal.

These jerks bitched and moaned and hollered for YEARS about how terrible the military was SUPPLIED and TREATED under Bill Clinton and how he "used" them for "nation building".

Where tha phuck are those voices of outrage now?

Hiding behind the flag of so-called "Patriotism" and their cute little "yeller" flag decals on their autos, that's where!

Bunch of hypocites

Sir Gimpy... in my opinion and based upon all available information, at this time and in this place, "unfortunately" the assertions you and yours are repeating do not qualify as "facts."

I do not "hide behind" the American flag. Indeed, my people lost a bitter war so as to establish which sort of USA we were to be.

I willingly, lawfully, and (I pray) honorably hoist the Stars and Stripes, pledging allegiance to that flag, every chance I am given (such as at the weekly Rotary meetings.) The ONLY reason I do so, is to honor our American fallen in battle and those who have suited up.

If it were mine to do? I'd want to see the Confederate flag honorably carried and shown and displayed right there beside "Old Glory." We earned, earned... the recognition.

My guys "lost" that war, long ago... much as our guys "lost" the VN war?

DID we?

DID they?

Now, we are with the "Union", such as it declares itself to be.

Maybe it is, that the "Union" ain't "with" anybody but itself anymore. Very sad, to think it might be so.

Here is what all Americans can do to set things straight again...

ABOLISH:
- Electoral College
- Gerrymandering
- Closed Primaries
- Sovereign Immunity

It has been said that "we" do not want a Civil War in Iraq.

I say, "We DO!"

The people of Iraq must rise up and help us destroy all sadistic criminals who have terrorized their, and our, and other, people, for far too long at time.

Carry on.

Then show me or prove to me where anything I've said is incorrect about the comments I've made.

Have YOU purchased any body armour or any other supplies that the troops are short of lately.

Just HOW are you showing your support for the troops?

How much have YOU sacrificed to see they are adequately suppiled, supported given the numbers of troops and material to get the job done?

I don't see any evidence of your outrage that these conditions exist for our troops...........so what the hell ARE you doing, huh?

Just asking.

Most of the reports coming back from those using the supplies do not conform to how things are being talked about here at home.

I have no outrage, true... but it is very upsetting when it happens. I don't expect an entire Army etc. to know every single thing they are going to need for any kind of war at all times and in all places. They have adjusted pretty well, it seems to me.

At my age, and physical condition, all I am actually able to do involves making sure they get stuff from home to make life better for them (through anysoldier.com, and militarymascots.com), and to do nothing that might injure their morale. I also hope it helps that I keep my ear to the ground and listen to what they themselves are reporting to us, and then pass the news along.

NO....that is NOT true!......You're just not listening to the right folks who are NOT getting those "supplies", or their parents! Why don't you go to "Operation Truth" web pages and some other TRUTHFUL web sites for the accurate info???-----Gimp
