Reality...what a bummer!

This happened to me last night...

My wife and Iwent out for a few Margaritas and dinner at our favorite Tex/Mex restaurant last night. We dined in the bar section, atone of many small, elevated tables. Good booze, good food. As we were got up to leave, I noticed a very attractive young blonde, dressed in tight, lowslung jeans, high-heeled sandals, and a very form fitting tank top looking me right in the eye, and smiling one of those sleepy-eyed "Where have you been all my life?" smiles. Then she started to walk towards me (even THAT was nice), and for the briefest instant I thought to myself, "I still got it!". Then she said, "Oh, good, we've been dying for someone to leave!" Then I noticed her friends already starting to sit down at our table, and she strode past me without another word.

And the walls of reality crashed down around me. Not only did I NOT still have it, I think I left it in a pair of pants I donated to the Salvation Army several years ago.

Buying baby food for my grandson , it's me and 6 twenty something good looking women in the baby isle. I am thinking they must think I am a stud being this old and being in the baby isle. Same thought at the check out , I am almost 10 feet tall and bullet proof , till the check out lady says " So how old is your grandbaby " Sucks

As a therapist I recommend:

Repeating to yourself ten times each time you really think "you still have it" I'm an old geezer, I'm an old geezer, then go look in the mirror and say Boy I really am an old geezer.

P.S. of course I'm still a "Chick Magnet" (Griz's Term) but I don't look in the mirror any longer. Looking in the mirror scares me and gives me nightmares.

I have let to experience any of these down-falls in the aging process of life. The way I look at it is: The older we get the broader our range of women we can now hit on.....what makes it bettter, if they can take their teeth out!!!!!

It's like I tell em just cause there aren't tiles on the roof, doesn't mean there isn't some fire in oven. Blondes flip over me, especially ones who can't see well. But when they get up close and see all of me they usually just laugh.
