Default Stats prove many wrong....again.

Well it would seem that the Federal Government wasn't try to kill off all the Black people of New Orleans afterall.....or they missed terribly. Seems that more whites, as a percentage, were killed then blacks. Kinda reminds me of the Vietnam Myth that more blacks were killed in a much larger percentage than whites in combat. Well, 12% of the casualties were blacks in Vietnam when they were 13% of the population. The figures from Katrina show the same thing. As a percentage, more whites died. Well, so much for the "racist" deal again.

Stats: Blacks 67.25% Population
59.1% of Deaths

Whites 28% Population
26.6% of deaths

Dead: 658 Bodies
47% Black
42% White

Sorry Nation of Islam, NAACP, and all the other race baiters out there. Wrong again.

Default We had a guy show up

From NO in our group session about a month ago. Swore the government caused all the flooding by cutting loose the barges and letting them crash into the levees. I just left and haven't been back since. Easier than finishing off the job for the government.

Ron,

Your right. It's sad that anyone had to die. Maybe this time, the town and state will use the money for levee's not Super Domes. This isn't N O's first rodeo, nor it's last, but I will be surprised if that Mayor and Governor ever get re-elected. Fool them once.....

The last I heard the Mayor of N.O. is out begging his cousins to come home and repopulate N.O. so he can get re-elected and so far the busses just aren't rolling in with the citizens of the 9th ward...... Seems they have found better places to live with higher paying state assistance checks. and the Governor Blanco is in big time CYA mode speaking before Congress.
