Attorney - - Justice? Contradiction of terms
The defense attorney goes to the court and ask for a dismissal due to the fact that his client wasn't told that he could speak to his attorney before he spoke to the arresting officer even though his attorney was in the building and the client knew of his attorneys presence.
The case involves an alleged criminal who was being escorted from his holding cell to his hearing in front of a judge to see if there was enough evidence to try the prisoner for rape. As the officer is escorting her prisoner the prisoner attacks the guard, takes her gun, and shoots the officer. He then breaks into the court room and shoots the judge, leaves the court room and proceeds out of the building after shooting anyone that gets into his path. He uses Atlanta public transportation in order to get out of the down town area, gets off the bus and hijacks a truck and eventually breaks into an appartment where he tells the tenant of that apartment that "If you do what I say, I won't kill you." Days later the "alleged" criminal (mind you that everything that happened in and around the Courthouse was recorded on video tape) tells his captive host that she is to follow him in her car so he can dispose of the truck that he stole which he has seen on CNN Headline News. Police are looking for that perticular pickup truck. While she is following the truck the woman calls 911 on her cell phone which she has in her car. Later at her home the police surround the house and the ensuing scene is broadcast on local television. Brian Nichols first watches on TV and then leaves the house holding a white flag of surrender. Later that day, he is questioned in an Atlanta Justice Center holding cell after he is told that his attorney is in the building. Nichols admits everything but yesterday his defending attorney petitions the court for dismissal of all of the charges because the police did not tell Nichols that he had a "right to speak to his attorney before speaking to police." Isn't an attorney obligated to "liberty and justice for all?"

We need to start giving the sentance of the criminal to the attorneys as well. This attorney is a azzhat and needs to be taken out and shot and left for dead.
