No doubt that Teddy would get the time and duty worn ?racist bigot? buggy whip right across the face for such utterances. Languages and culture are a variable in this land and always have been, and that?s fine with me.

However, the language of government, business, law, science, industry and higher education is English. Someone can?t handle that then they?re simply SOL, tough darts and get a translation dictionary or hire a translator. That?s the way in works in the real world.

Loyalty is not an extorted commodity that is handed out like theater ju-ju-bees just because some special interest group threatens violence, economic shutdowns and runs their flag (s) in our face.

Reminds me of the ?Rice Christians? that Pearl S. Buck wrote about in the book, ?The Good Earth?. Alas, cheep and unearned or extorted loyalty isn?t worth didly squat.

Certainly can't argue with any of: "Teddy's" words.

Still, and in fairness and since most everyone in America is an immigrant or descendant of same,..."He" was only speaking of We Legitimate Immigrants of America,...and about no one else.

"He" most certainly wasn't speaking of: "CRIMINALLY ILLEGAL ALIENS" and/or foreign laborers, coyotes, moles, spies, terrorists and common criminals, daily sneaking into America IN DROVES,...and NOT ALL of GOOD INTENT.

After all, Old Teddy was quite some rarity amongst The Political Breed.
"He" actually had his head screwed-on-straight, was solely concerned about American Charges protecting and those entrusting him...and was patriotic above all else.

Whatever,..."He" most certainly wasn't like most current foreigner and minority butt-kissing politicians of today.
Would that today's politicians started kissing The American Citizen/Taxpayer's butts,...for-a-change?

I picture Teddy as a mans man and one who really didn't care for the narrow minded person. He looked beyond and into the big picture and more than that he was supported what he believed whole heartily. He was a patriot in all terms and a fairly good shot.

We don't have many good speakers in politics of late - the ones who will stand up and make others feel like fools because they don't know how to say what they really feel. Too many are too worried about where their support comes from when the real issue is to believe in something to the bone.

Just my thoughts.

Let's ban carrying all flags in parades except flags originated in the U.S.A.

No foreign country flags paraded around.
No Irish flags on March 17
No Polish Flags
No German Flags
No British Flags
No Swedish or Norwegian Flags in Minnesota or Ballard, WA.

When we get angry with the Mexican Flag are we willing to abide by the restrictions we place on others?
