Step back from this forum with an unconcerned eye......the same rants and crap have been passed among many of us for over 6 years.....AS far as I know, NO one has changed anybody else's mind about anything on here, through all the many thousands of cut and paste, political yelling and screaming, or anything else......no wonder new members sign in, and leave for good.....as for Ron, when he said, if he showed up at Psyco Mtn., he would have killed someone, even if made in jest, it was a crass and stupid comment. He has a serious problem, and I pray to God he gets some help. Keeping this forum stirred up, is just not worth anybody's time anymore. Ron is a fellow-vet with a problem and maybe it takes someone like you to point this out to him.....Theres not one person here who hasn't tried to show him respect through the forums, VIA PM's, or a phone call, only to be shot down. Making idle death threats, no matter where the problem lies is definitely wrong.

I've haven't been gone from the site, and missed something. We all have to deal with issues on a daily basis, wheter it's a Vietnam issue or a daily life issue, but we deal, and this is only place where we can dump our shit and move on. I for one am thankful to all the people on this site who have shared and opened up to people they don't personally know other then the trust we share as bothers in arms.

I for one am glad the original thread was locked. Missing and now found dead and by all accounts mutilated, G.I.?s is serious stuff and petty bickering didn?t belong on it. As for myself, being a former Screaming Eagle makes me all that more pissed off that crap was uttered on what could have been a thread to show OUR respect for these 101st troopers.

Curtis, glad you had enough sense to start a new thread. The fallen, of any conflict, deserve OUR respect not petty BS.
