one of the Vala Victorians gave a speach and mentioned Jesus, after speach she was escorted out and reported to principals office where she was told her diploma was gong to be held.
She was finally given her deploma after she wrote an apology for talking about Jesus.
I have no idea what High school did this , but the pricipal there should be looking for a job.
This girl was the Vala Victorian!!!!! and being that, was invited to give a speach to the graduating class , there was no criteria as to the content just talk about what made her what she is.
Normally I would say keep your religous opinions to yourself, but in her case, She earned the right to talk about what ever she wanted to talk about for 30 seconds. Thats what a vala victorian gets to do. I wasn't even in the same ball park in high school as a vala victorian and I would like to hear what she had to say, The pricipal decided that her content was not what the pricipals office wanted the student body to hear so her deploma was held? What an Idiot.
If I was her parent I would not look good in the eyes of the educated world right now.
I would imagin a search would tell you the high school, I just wanted to get the story out there.

Like I said , I would normally say keep your relious views to yourself, But she earned the right to say whatever she wanted, When your earn the right, you should be given the opertunity and defended if what you say conflicts. If Jesus made her what she is than she should say that and not have it condemed.
That High school principal needs to have his values checked.

It all makes a mockery of allegedly ?educated educators? and the pathetic institutions that produced them. A wiser mind just lets things like that go for the sake of the moment and the student.

But of course not, rob the student of the moment and then threaten and bully the student for failing to buy into all that obligatory punky wood and bilge slop that is force fed.

Reality of it all is that to boss hog bubba needed some CYA paper in the event someone got their pink knickers in a wad over such a breach of institutional political correctness. A theme of 'All hail Che' would have been much more appropriate and pleasing to the boss hog.
