Going by recent projections for Hurricane Chris (it will be by Monday off the Coast of Miami) they have it heading for the Texas Coast somewhere between Brownsville and Galvaston. Hope you all on the coast are OK and it misses being anything bigger then a (2)

I ain't skert a no stinking hurican. I was in Texas City during Hurican Alicia, Walked down to the Texas city dike and seen twenty + foot waves comming in and went home and went to bed, About 2am the house shook hard enough to wake me, I looked outside and seen it raining sideways and said Huuuu. Then went back to bed.

Now down to a Tropical Depression
Well today the weather guy showed us that the tropical storm Chris has dropped back to a Tropical Depression after plowing thru some little islands( Puerto Rico) on its way to the gulf. They figure by the time it runs across Cuba it will be of little consequences.By Monday it may just be a rain storm heading into the Gulf. Would be great if the predictions of this year being worse then last Hurricane season falters and becomes one of the easiest seasons.

The season is not over and ease is not in Mother natures vocabulary, Kinda like telling who is going to win the football game at the end of the 1st quarter. Fear not a real hurican will come. Ron |

Chris Depressed?
How could Chris be depressed when he lives in Washington?

Keith,
Being that Chris lives in Washington State he can't be too Tropical either (LOL) More likely if he is in Eastern Wash he would be More Dry and Windy . Where as in Western Washington he would have to be more rainy and partly cloudy Ron, Yep the season is just starting and the next storm will be a D(insert name here) and who knows where mother nature will send it. But, I do like seeing Fidel getting his share of Hurricanes and Storms from the Hurricane season

Cool! I plumb forgot that was there . I just noticed that Gordon and Tony are names for Hurricanes this year would be funny if the Gordon one turned into a bad storm to match his driving style (LOL) And Patty Moise can even lay claim to a (Name)Hurricane this season too.
