Beware Of The Silence!

All wars begin with flags waving, drums beating, egos bruised, and people yelling out in patriotic fervor. It makes no difference where on Earth the (cannon) ball begins to roll, most within that nation are quick to jump to action when the alarm is sounded. It was the same at Lexington, right after Sumter was fired upon, after the first bombs fell upon Pearl Harbor, and when conveniently circulated rumors of weapons of mass destruction boiled to the surface!

War is the most horrendous undertaking of mankind, even though at times, no other recourse is left to those who are targeted by the greedy, the insane and the power hungry!

There is also no rule of thumb as concerns the length or ferocity of warfare. They can last a day, a year or even a hundred years. They can even go on forever, as some wars are never declared officially over, as was the situation in Korea and is fast becoming the case in the Middle East. These people have been at war with themselves ever since biblical times, with no end in sight!

The biggest problem, however, is when mankind accepts war as natural and normal! Or when war is waged and the casualties become naught but a quickly forgotten footnote or a statistic on the nightly news. When this becomes the case, is not the true meaning of humanity lost somewhere in the translation?

It also speaks sad volumes when the bodies of our fallen are silently shipped home in the dead of night, with little or no general knowledge of our tragic loses. It is then that the governments own silence also becomes an enemy of sorts!

We do not raise and educate our children with love and care to throw them away for uncaring foreign entities, many of whom are total strangers to education, right and wrong or even soap and water! And when we begin to silently accept or even ignore the corpses of our nation?s young, returned in secret in the dead of night, then by our silence, we too have become allies of the beast and those who engage in such folly for personal gain or fleeting power.

?Far too many within the rank of mankind are fast retreating back into the cave and are engaging in warfare for the sake of warfare and profit alone!?

Still, you must admit how well your: "...my own personal opinions" tie-in so factually with unarguably historical facts and realities, and also current facts and realities?

Still, and even though knowing you TOTALLY despise TOTALLY merit-less ("For The People") politics as TOTALLY as I do,...you must admit that if it weren't for overall despicable, duplicitous and fanatical politics and politicians, This World would be a much better place (America inclusive).

A few examples of what I mean are taken from what you brought up in your fine piece.

After Pearl Harbor Free Men (Women also) united and rallied together worldwide (without any political cajoling), to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to kill, destroy and defeat the enemy ANYWAY POSSIBLE.

Whereas about 6 Years after: "9/11" with about 600 more slaughtered than Pearl Harbor (and defenseless Civilian Americans to-boot), despicable or nationally-suicidal American Politics in general still debating how best SURVIVING against OUR BEING ATTACKED by mass-murdering and merciless Fanatical Islam.

Politics also stupidly stopped the greatly warranted and necessary TOTAL DEFEAT & DESTRUCTION of North Korea, for it's invasion of the quite peaceful Nation of South Korea. North Korea more hostile, belligerent and dangerous to World Peace TODAY or about 53 years later,...THAN IT EVER WAS!!!

Well,...so much for absurdly enemy capitulating Politics and/or exceptionally politically-correct Politicians. Such type politicos alluded to must have some hang-up about ever resolving anything? Sure-as-hell-seems-so.

I guess what I'm trying to say or get across, is that as lethally bad as things currently are for We Americans,...it wouldn't be near as bad if not for sicko politics and many sicko politicians.

Doesn't matter whether fanatically Infidel Bloodthirsty political rulers/dictators posing as mullahs, or quite asininely politically-correct American Politicians/Leaders whom apparently favor negotiating with foreign enemy murderers forever,...rather just ordering the killing such ANYWAY POSSIBLE & ANYWHERE ON EARTH.

Hey Rick,...I'm not really as vicious person as it seems.
I've just got a big hang-up about THE SURVIVAL of me and mine and ALL Americans,...and basically say: "Screw all politicians whom would have it otherwise".
Think such makes me A Bad Person?
