This weekend My daughter and I were going to be leaning agena fence at Houston Drag strip, Watching John Force and Team Force beat all those Chevy's whith his 4 Mustangs.
Well this ain't gona happen. John has cancelled Team Force from the show in respect to Eric Medlens family. Eric Medlen drove one of Johns Mustangs and was killed last week in Florida in a Funny car Test.

I met Eric several times at Poweraid events and he was always like he had just drank a pot of coffee. Full of energy and never at a loss for words, (he got the last one from john)
If you get the FM radios you can hear the conversations between driver and crew chief, I remember Eric telling John that he was about to put the "old Man " on the trailer.
Eric was a Calf Roper and a Team Roping Champion. and Maybe God needed a Funny Car driver, or maybe he just needed another cowboy.

Eric will be missed.
