German Parliament Debates New Afghan Troop Mandate

Berlin – On Jan. 21 Germany's parliament debated here about prolonging the mandate for the country's around 4,900 troops stationed in Afghanistan for another year. For the first time it will include a time frame during which all combat troops are supposed to leave the country.
