Default Tha American Flag

Is it or would it be proper to allow the Flag to be drapped around the neck and shoulders of the Olympic players like the womens soccer team did?

Just wondering, cause I think they should have held it up in respect between the two.

enough.............

I personally would rather see these flags staffed and carried aloft,
but since there is no disrespect intended, and the flags are being
displayed with very obvious national pride, I don't see it as an issue.

The American athletes seem to take care to see that the flags are kept off the ground.
