Apache helicopters of the 8th/229th fly past the Statue of Liberty on their way to Bosnia -- via their port of embarkation on Staten Island, N.Y., where they were loaded onto a cargo ship Aug. 4. The "Flying Tigers" battalion is one of only two Apache battalions in the Army Reserve and the unit is headed to Bosnia to help the 10th Mountain Division with peacekeeping duties.
