A full moon illuminates the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) while she conducts night flight operations. The photo was made from deck of the guided missile frigate USS Ingraham (FFG 61). Carl Vinson is currently underway off the California coast training for their next scheduled deployment.
