Author Thread   Jerry D Senior Member Registered: March 2003 Location: Nahunta,GA Posts: 3,680 Sun March 16, 2003 11:46pm Rating: 10.00  When I started Grade school in the 60's we had the saving's bond stamp program where kids could take nickels and dimes and buy stamps to fill a book and when your book was full you received a 25$ savings bond :-) then the Liberals came along and complained that some poor underprivilaged kid couldn't participate in the program so the US Government closed this great program which instilled a sense of Saving for your future into kids at a young age .Now they complain Kids today don't know how to save and these same idiots that canx this program are trying to figure out a way to get more people to Save ...... ------------------------------ [><] Dixie born and proud of it.
